    Abstract: A modular endoscope system comprises an imaging guidewire comprising an elongate shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal end, an imaging device located proximate the distal end of the elongate shaft and a lighting element located proximate the distal end of the elongate shaft, and an intervention accessory configured to slide along the elongate shaft to provide a medical intervention. A method of providing a medical intervention to an internal anatomic location comprises inserting an imaging guidewire into an anatomic passageway, viewing target anatomy with imaging capabilities of the imaging guidewire, pushing an intervention accessory along the imaging guidewire to the target anatomy, and operating the intervention accessory to provide an intervention on the target anatomy.

    Abstract: An endoscope system includes a control handle, an insertion tube extending from the control handle to a distal end and configured for insertion into an internal passage of a patient. The insertion tube includes a working channel therein. The endoscope system also includes a valve located within the working channel.     Abstract: A tissue collection instrument comprises a tissue separator device comprising a separator and a storage volume, and a tissue retrieval device comprises a tissue shuttle storable in the storage volume and a retriever connected to the tissue shuttle to retract the tissue shuttle away from the tissue separator device. A method of collecting biological matter using a tissue collection instrument comprises inserting a tissue separator device into anatomy, operating the tissue separator device to obtain a first tissue sample from the anatomy, collecting the first tissue sample with a shuttle associated with the tissue separator device and withdrawing the shuttle from the anatomy. A method of collecting biological matter comprises assembling a tissue separator with a scope, inserting the scope and the tissue separator into anatomy, operating the tissue separator to obtain a tissue sample, and withdrawing the tissue sample through an openable lumen in the scope.

    Abstract: A biliary diagnostic device comprises a tubular body comprising an outer wall and an internal lumen, and a biliary diagnostic sensor comprising for analyzing biological matter in contact with the tubular body. A method of guiding an endoscope to a bile duct comprises inserting the endoscope into a duodenum, engaging a sensor with biological matter, electrically analyzing biological matter with the sensor to identify an electrical parameter, identifying liver bile in the biological matter from the electrical parameter, and guiding the endoscope through the duodenum based on the bile. A method of identifying biological matter comprises engaging a medical device sensor with biological matter in a bile duct, electrically analyzing biological matter with the sensor to identify an electrical parameter, identifying biological matter from a liver, pancreas or gall bladder from the electrical parameter, and outputting indicia of the biological matter to a user of the medical device.
