Abstract: A device for harnessing wind energy to supply power to a load. This device comprises a duct made of duct sections of uniform cross section or a plurality of Venturis to channelize wind and converts the kinetic energy of the wind to mechanical energy which is further converted into electrical energy which is supplied to the load.
