Abstract: Provided are a reactive hot melt adhesive composition and use thereof. The reactive hot melt adhesive composition comprises at least one NCO-terminated polyurethane prepolymer comprising the reaction product of the following components: a) at least one polyisocyanate, b) at least one polyol selected from polytetrahydrofurans, polybutadiene polyols, hydrogenated polybutadiene polyols, polycarbonate polyols and combinations thereof, and c) optionally, at least one polyol different from component b), wherein the NCO/OH ratio, which is a molar ratio of the NCO group of component a) to the total OH groups of components b) and c), is more than 1, preferably from about 1.5 to about 2.5.
