Abstract: A dispenser for compound-containing containers, comprising: a cassette for a container; at least one push rod displaceable relative to the cassette; a motor for moving the at least one push rod; a main switch for generating a control signal in response to actuation of the main switch; and a control unit for controlling the motor; a sensor configured to detect the moving of the push rod which is electronically connected to the control unit, and the control unit being configured to store the dispensed volume of the compound and provide a feedback to the user once the dispensed volume of the compound reach a defined value. With this preventive maintenance feature, the user gets informed as soon as the cassette shall be checked. This is provided by saving the dispensed volume of the compound. Based on this information, the user can be informed, if a specified volume is reached and a check of the cassette is recommended.

The dispenser according to the invention will warn the user once the remaining amount of the compound in the container is less than the needed amount for next application, then the user will notice the compound shortage and prepare an additional container before he starts next application. A rework of cured chemical compounds will be avoided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a dispenser for compound-containing containers, comprising: a receiving chamber for a container; at least one push rod displaceable relative to the receiving chamber; a motor for moving the at least one push rod; a control unit for controlling the motor; a main switch; an operation selection switch for setting a selected amount of the compound to be dispensed in one application run, a sensor configured to detect the moving of the push rod, the control unit being configured to store a missing amount of the compound when one application run is interrupted, said missing amount of the compound being the difference value of the selected amount and an already dispensed amount of the compound in the interrupted application run, wherein the dispenser dispenses the missing amount of the compound when the main switch is actuated for finishing the interrupted application. Such a dispenser will be able to fulfil an interrupted application with the correct amount of the compound. If an application run gets interrupted, for example, due to the empty battery, not the preselected amount of the compound will be dispensed, but the missing amount of the compound. With this function, the user will be able to proceed the application without additional chemical or compound wastage.
