Abstract: A system for generation of a virtual template of at least one part of the body of a user, comprising at least one acquisition unit (1), which acquisition unit (1) consists of a structure defining an acquisition chamber (11), which structure comprises a plurality of image capture devices (12) such as cameras or the like. Said structure consists of a frame for supporting a plurality of panels (13), each panel (13) having arranged thereon a corresponding image capture device (12) facing said acquisition chamber (11), the panels (13) being arranged in such a way that said acquisition chamber (11) is shaped as an egg.
