Abstract: The compensating nut comprises an exterior sleeve (1) provided with an interior thread (11), an interior sleeve (2) provided with an exterior thread (21), the interior (2) and exterior (1) sleeves being coupled together by means of their threads (11, 21) in order to move the interior (2) and exterior (1) sleeves relative to one another, and a washer (3), wherein the compensating nut also comprises a centering body (4) placed on said interior sleeve (2). The compensating nut can be mounted more easily and reliably and is also lighter and less expensive than conventional compensating nuts.
