    Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure provide solutions that address technological challenges related to Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) registrations. To improve IMS registrations over Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) and mitigate failures, available WLANs accessible on a User Equipment (UE) may be determined and prioritized based on a degree of wireless connectivity. A UE may connect to a WLAN with a high degree of wireless connectivity and send a request for IMS registration to the IMS over the connected WLAN. If a UE receives an unsuccessful response for IMS registration, there are other solutions available to increase the likelihood of receiving a successful IMS registration.

    Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication of a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The apparatus may include a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The at least one processor may be configured to receive a paging signal associated with an mobile terminating (MT) internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) voice session. The at least one processor may be further configured to send a session initiation protocol (SIP) message in response to the paging signal. The at least one processor may be further configured to receive a second SIP message indicating SIP failure. The at least one processor may be further configured to determine whether the second SIP message indicates a network failure or a global failure. The at least one processor may be further configured to establish a connection with a different RAT network when the second SIP message indicates a network failure or a global failure.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for selectively enabling or disabling measurement reporting by a user equipment (UE) to a network. The selective enablement/disablement can be based on whether or not the UE is undergoing a Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE), Voice over New Radio (VoNR), or Evolved Packet System (EPS) fallback call setup. In some situations, measurement reporting by a UE is prohibited if the UE is undergoing a VoLTE, VoNR, or EPS fallback cell setup procedure. In some situations, such as when the network instructs the UE to undergo a blind handover, the UE can ignore the instruction if the UE did not send a measurement report preceding the handover instruction. In some situations, serving cell performance relative to a given threshold may prompt enablement of measurement reporting to avoid a likelihood that a call will drop after VoNR, VoLTE, EPS fallback call setup.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for improving the overall experience for users conducting voice calls over 5G, despite experiencing an adverse status or failure of IMS registration. Particularly, after a voice call is initiated via a user equipment (UE) device over 5G NR, a status of an IMS registration (e.g., failed, in progress, etc.) for the UE is identified. Thereafter, voice call handling functions may be adjusted in a manner that is deemed most efficient and reliable for completing the voice call based on the identified status. For example, in response to determining that the status of IMS registration for the UE is in-progress, the voice call can be held, and a wait timer initiated. If the IMS registration completes prior to the wait timer expiring, the voice call is conducted over 5G NR or 4G Long-term Evolution (LTE).

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided which enable the identification and resolution of connectivity issues between a user equipment (UE) and an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia System (IMS) that results in missed incoming voice calls. The identification of missed calls may be based on the receipt of other notifications that can tangentially or relatedly indicate a missed voice call, e.g., voicemail notifications.     Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for improving the overall experience for users conducting voice calls over 5G. For example, failing to establish a Transport Control Protocol (TCP) connection to a Proxy-Call Session Control Function (P-CSCF) server leads to user equipment (UE) not registering to an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), and impacts the 5G voice call. A voice call flow handling function on the UE performs several handling procedures to dynamically adjust the flow to address failed connections to the P- CSCF server. After initiating a 5G voice call, the UE can detect a failed connection to the P- CSCF server. In response, a secondary P-CSCF server from a plurality of available P-CSCF servers is selected. A connection to the selected secondary P-CSCF server is attempted. A successful connection to the selected secondary P-CSCF server supports the UE registering to the IMS to conduct the voice call over 5G New Radio (NR).

In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides for selection and aggregation of data subscriptions associated with multiple SIMs on a device. Selection of a data subscription can improve performance on a device by selecting an appropriate data subscription to serve as a primary data subscription. Aggregation of multiple data subscriptions can improve traffic throughput on the device by allowing the device to use multiple data subscriptions for packet service. Further, the use of multiple data subscriptions described herein can provide for recovery in cases of service failure or service degradation.
