Abstract: A method of processing a message to be transmitted in a radio communication network is described. The method includes channel encoding a first bit stream representing a message. A combined bit stream is generated by combining at least a portion of the channel encoded first bit stream with at least a portion of a second bit stream, wherein the second bit stream representing at least partly the message. The channel encoded first bit stream is configured to be transmitted over a first radio link of the radio communication network and the combined bit stream is configured to be transmitted over a second radio link of the radio communication network.
