摘要: Methods, computer readable media, and apparatus for scheduling service periods (SPs) are disclosed. An apparatus includes processing circuitry where the processing circuitry is configured to encode a first physical Layer Convergence Procedure (PLCP) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU), the PPDU comprising an indication of scheduled service periods (SPs) during a beacon interval (BI) and an indication of an intended transmission of a second PPDU at the start of the scheduled service periods. The processing circuitry may be configured to encode the second PPDU, the second PPDU comprising a frame or element for the HE STAs.

摘要: Methods, computer readable media, and apparatus for determining a receive (Rx) number of spatial streams (NSS) for different bandwidths (BWs) and modulation and control schemes (MCSs) are disclosed. An apparatus is disclosed comprising processing circuitry configured to decode a supported HE-MCS and a NSS set field, the supported HE-MSC and NSS set field received from an high-efficiency (HE) station. The processing circuitry may be further configured to determine a first maximum value of N receive (Rx) SS for a MCS and a bandwidth (BW), where the first maximum value of N Rx SS is equal to a largest number of Rx SS that supports the MCS for the BW as indicated by the supported HE-MCS and NSS set field; and, determine additional maximum values based on an operating mode (OM) notification frame, and a value of an OM control (OMC) field. Signaling for BW in 6 GHz is disclosed.

In some aspects, a relative polarity of the first and second training fields indicates whether the frame is a multi-user frame or a single user frame. In some other aspects, the high efficiency signal A field indicates, via an indicator having a predetermined value, whether the frame is a single user frame or a multi-user frame.

The access point may further control access to the medium by disabling access via enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA). With this approach, an access point may enhance control of channel access via, for example, triggered uplink transmissions and not via contention based access by stations.

摘要: Embodiments of a station (STA), an access point (AP) and methods of communication are generally described herein. The AP may select a back-off counter value to be used for contention-based access to a channel in unlicensed spectrum. The AP may monitor the channel to determine whether the channel is idle during a back-off period. A duration of the back-off period may be based on the back-off counter value. The AP may, if it is determined that the channel is idle during the back-οff period, transmit a co-existence reference signal (CRS) during a slot of an active collision resolution (ACR) period to indicate: that the AP determined that the channel was idle during the back-off period, and an intention of the AP to obtain exclusive access to the channel during a data transmission (DT) period after the ACR period.

摘要: A wireless communication device, method and system. The device includes a memory, and a processing circuitry coupled the memory. The processing circuitry is to: read data from and write data into the memory, and is further to encode an uplink (UL) null data packet (NDP) on at least two tone sets, the at least two tone sets together encoding at least two bits, wherein: a first bit of the at least two bits is to be encoded within at least a first set of the at least two tone sets; and a subsequent bit of the at least two bits that is subsequent to the first bit is to be encoded within a subsequent set of the at least two tone sets that is subsequent to the at least first set such that a value of the subsequent bit is based on a value of tones used to encode the first bit. The processing circuitry is further to cause transmission of the UL NDP to an access point (AP).
