    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for data driven sounding feedback reports are provided herein. A method may include transmitting a request frame to an access point (AP), the frame including information indicating at least one of an index-based feedback capability or a channel state information (CSI) set request field; receiving, in response to the request frame, a response frame including information indicating a CSI candidate set; and performing, based on the indicated CSI candidate set, a beamforming sounding procedure. The method may further include sending CSI measurements obtained from the beamforming sounding procedure to the AP. The response frame may be carried in a broadcast or beacon message. The information indicating the CSI candidate set may be a bitmap. The request frame may include information indicating a request for a CSI candidate set. The response frame may include information indicating whether the indicated CSI candidate set is a requested CSI candidate set.

    Abstract: Devices and methods that support two-stage sensing are disclosed. A STA in accordance with the disclosure may comprise a transmitter and a receiver. The receiver may receive, from an initiating STA, a first probe request including physical (PHY) layer capabilities associated with a first sensing. The transmitter may transmit, to the initiating STA, a non-trigger based NDP. The receiver may then receive, from the initiating STA, first sensing information based on the non-trigger based NDP and an indication that the initiating STA requests a second sensing. Next, the transmitter may transmit, to a plurality of multi-user (MU) sensing STAs, a second probe request, wherein the second probe request includes PHY layer capabilities associated with the second sensing. The transmitter may then transmit, to the plurality of MU sensing STAs, a trigger-based NDP to enable the plurality of MU sensing STAs to perform the second sensing based on the trigger-based NDP.

    Abstract: A method performed by a first station (STA) may compromise: receiving, from an access point (AP) that has an established transmission opportunity (TXOP) with a second STA, a multi-user request-to-send (MU-RTS) transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing (TXS) trigger frame, wherein the MU-RTS TXS trigger frame includes: (i) an indication that the AP is sharing the TXOP established with the second STA with the first STA, and (ii) an indication of a duration of the shared TXOP; and transmitting, in response to the MU-RTS TXS trigger frame, one or more uplink (UL) frames within the duration of the shared TXOP indicated by the MU-RTS TXS trigger frame.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for multiple-access point (multi-AP) sounding procedures in a wireless local area network (WLAN). A coordinating AP (CAP) may receive, from one or more member APs in a multi-AP set (MAPS), one or more indications indicating that the one or more member APs are capable of multi-AP sounding during a transmission opportunity (TXOP). The CAP may transmit a CAP TXOP indication (CTI) frame indicating that the multi-AP sounding is to be performed during a TXOP acquired by the CAP. The CAP may receive a CAP TXOP request (CTR) frame indicating that the one or more member APs of the MAP are willing to perform multi-AP sounding during the TXOP. The CAP may transmit a CAP TXOP AP schedule (CTAS) frame indicating a transmission schedule for one or more sounding frames to be transmitted by the one or more member APs during the TXOP.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for operating in multi-access point (AP) wireless networks are described herein. A method performed by an AP may include transmitting, using a set of resources, a multi-AP ready-to-send (RTS) frame to at least one other AP and a plurality of stations (STAs). The method may include transmitting another frame using a portion of the set of resources. The method may include receiving, using the portion of the set of resources, a clear-to-send (CTS) frame from at least one STA of the plurality of STAs in response to the another frame.     Abstract: Procedures and mechanisms for narrowband multi-channel transmission for wakeup radio (WUR) operation are disclosed. A station (STA) operating in WUR mode may have its a primary connectivity radio (PCR) turned off and its WUR turned and operating according to previously negotiated WUR operating parameters. The STA may monitor, for WUR beacons and frames over a first WUR channel, and determine that the first WUR channel does not support reliable transmission based on no beacons being received within a first duration. The STA may turn off the WUR, and turn on the PCR to send a first short WUR frame including a wakeup reason, and receive a second short WUR frame with a WUR channel assignment. The STA may turn off the PCR, turn on the WUR, and monitor for WUR signals on a second WUR channel according to the WUR channel assignment and the previously negotiated WUR operating parameters.

    Abstract: A single input single output (SISO) data transmission may solicit a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) rank adaptation information. A number of transmit chain for transmission may be determined, e.g., by an access point (AP). A physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) may be transmitted, e.g., to a station (STA). The PPDU may include data and training (TRN) sequences. The number of TRN sequences may be equal to the number of transmit chains. The PPDU may include information associated with the determined number of transmit chains for transmission. Feedback may be received, e.g., from the STA. The feedback may include information that identifies a transmit chain associated with the transmitted TRN sequences and/or a channel measurement associated with the identified transmit chain. A subsequent PPDU may be transmitted based on the channel measurement associated with the identified transmit chain from the received feedback.
