Abstract: The invention relates to a blind structural rivet for permanently joining predrilled components which are in the correct mutual alignment and are accessible from one side only. It consists of four components: a "mandrel" rod (1); a milling head or flat round head bush (2); a deformation bush (3); and a locking ring (4). This fixing is carried out with a gun-type rapid applicator device. It can be applied by an automatic system by long-distance computer control which also monitors it. The fixing is given an indented marking to identify the manufacturer and also briefly identify the materials.
