According to an aspect, there is provided a method for determining a sequence of bus nodes (102, 104, 106) in a multi-drop communication bus. The method comprises for each bus node (102, 104, 106): sending (200) a request to the bus node (102, 104, 106) using an bus node physical identifier to set the bus node (102, 104, 106) to a loopback mode; transmitting (202) at least one signal to the bus node via the multi- drop communication bus (108); receiving (204) from the bus node (102, 104, 106) a loopback signal caused by the at least one signal; and measuring (206) a roundtrip delay between the at least one signal and the loopback response signal. The method further comprises solving (208) the physical order of the bus nodes (102, 104, 106) in the multi-drop communication bus (108) based on the roundtrip delays.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a printed circuit arrangement (10) comprising a printed circuit board (12) having a corrosion test circuit comprising at least two conductive pads (18, 20) which are located proximate to each other in a measuring area (24), the arrangement further comprising a measuring device (14), characterized in that one pad (18, 20) is an excitation pad, being connected to an excitation signal source (GND, Out2), and the other pad (20, 18) is a response pad, whereby the measuring device is connected at least to the response pad. This arrangement allows the measurement of the corrosion of a printed circuit board including short circuits and line cuts.

The present invention relates to an arrangement for purging at least one electrical contact in an elevator safety circuit, comprising at least one electrical contact (110) comprising a first contact point (112) and a second contact point (114) coupled to a control unit (120) in the first contact point (112) and to a load (130) in the second contact point (114), a capacitor (140) coupled between the second contact (114) of the electrical contact (110) and a third voltage, V3, and wherein the control unit (120) is configured to selectively introduce a first voltage, V1, and a second voltage, V2, to the electrical contact (110). The invention also relates to a method for implementing the purging.
