Abstract: A heat pipe is formed from two flat plates bonded to each other along the respective peripheries. An inner surface of one or both of the flat plates may have a surface treatment to enhance performance of the resulting heat pipe. A charge of working medium may be disposed in the volume enclosed by the flat plates.
