Abstract: An embodiment of a cooling apparatus for a magnetic drive or coupling is disclosed. The cooling apparatus may include a housing enclosing the magnetic drive or coupling. The housing may include a cooling air inlet, a cooling air outlet, a drive shaft aperture, and a load shaft aperture. The cooling apparatus may also include an air mover. The air mover may include a cooling air inlet and a cooling air outlet, the cooling air outlet of the air mover may be in fluid communication with the cooling air inlet of the housing.
