Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for installing a correct software release version into respective deployment environments and establishing an installed version traceability matrix. The system of the present invention comprising an Integrated Development System (102) in communication with at least one Machine Readable Instruction Repository (104), the Integrated Development System (102) having means for transmitting machine readable instruction to the at least one Machine Readable Instructions Repository (104); at least one Issue tracker repository (106) for storing issues; at least one Push Engine (108) for transmitting the correct version of software release version to a right environment engine and at least one package staging server (110) for receiving an application package and for transmitting said application package into a deployment environment. In the present invention, traceability matrix generated into a targeted deployment environment enables a correct software release version to be installed.

Abstract: A system and method to generate hash values for project artifacts (601) and software package before being stored in a version repository. The system comprises a hash generator (602), version repository (612), comparison generator (606), label generator (608), and report generator (610). The hash generator (602) generates hash values corresponding to each project artifacts. The version repository (612) stores the project artifacts (601) with the corresponding hash values. The comparison generator (606) matches the project artifacts (601) with the hash values and compares the matched project artifacts (601) against a delivery checklist to determine an existence of the project artifacts (601). The label generator (608) performs the labeling operation on the project artifacts (601) matched with the hash values to obtain a release label. The label generator (608) uploads the release label in version repository (612). The report generator (610) receives the release label to generate an audit report (613).
