Abstract: It is described a method of separating a non-hydraulic phase (110) from a hydraulic phase (120) in a recyclable industry product (100), the method comprising: i) providing the recyclable industry product (100), wherein the hydraulic phase (120) and the non-hydraulic phase (110) are intergrown, ii) performing a hydration reaction of the hydraulic phase (120) using an hydroxy and hydronium containing fluid in order to obtain a rearranged hydrated phase (125), and thereby iii) providing an altered product (200), wherein the rearranged hydrated phase (125) is dislocated with respect to the non-hydraulic phase (110).
