    Abstract: An image capturing apparatus comprising: a first plurality of lenses arranged to capture an omnidirectional view of a surrounding of the image capturing apparatus; at least one reflective surface configured to reflect light captured by the first plurality of lenses respectively at an angle towards a single image plane; a second plurality of lenses for focusing the Sight reflected by the at least one reflective surface respectively onto the single image plane; and an image sensor comprising the single image plane, wherein patches of the light received by the single image plane are processed to form a single image containing the omnidirectional view of the surrounding of the image capturing apparatus.
