The method comprises, while one operating mode of at least one operating mode is implemented: monitoring an orientation angle defined between a reference direction (REF) fixed relative to the initial directions and the remote direction around a vertical axis, and upon detection of the verification of at least one condition including a condition according to which the orientation angle has left a predetermined range, redefining the initial directions by rotating the initial directions by a predetermined angle around a vertical axis.
