Abstract: Systems (104, 106, 108, 110, 112, and 116) and methods (300 and 400) for capturing and sharing content are disclosed. Including capturing content data (302) related to a scene (102) via an image capturing device (110). Further including, capturing identifying data (304) from a beacon (104) via a sensor (112) associated with the image capturing device (110) wherein the identifying data identifies an artifact (106) in the scene (102). Further including, binding (306) the identifying data to the content data at the image capturing device (110) such that the artifact (106) may be subsequently identified in the content data. Further including, sending (308) the identifying data and the content data, bound together, to a content server (116).
