    摘要: A prosthetic interface (60) includes a body portion (62) having an open proximal end and a closed distal end including a distal cup. The body portion (62) includes a membrane component (68) having a flexible configuration defining an internal flow space (70) extending along a length of the membrane component between an inner side (62A) arranged to face a skin surface of a residual limb and an outer side (62B) arranged to face away from the skin surface. At least one material coating (72) is selectively applied to the membrane component (68) that interacts with at least one of the membrane component (68) and the distal cup to define at least one breathable region along the inner side (62A) that allows fluid flow between the internal flow space (70) and the residual limb, and at least one impermeable region along the outer side (62B) that allows for vacuum suspension.

    摘要: An orthopedic device comprising a first shell (102), a second shell (104), and a hinge (110) connecting to the first and second shells (102, 104). A first strap (112) having a first end slidably connects to the first shell (102) and a second end removably anchors to the second shell (104). An overlay (130) extends over a portion of the first shell (102) and forms a clearance (184) with the first shell (102) into which the first end of the first strap (112) extends. Portions of the overlay (130) secure to the first shell (112) outside of the clearance (184). A connector (400) attaches both a dynamic force strap (112) and a circumferential strap (116) at a single location along the shell (102), and defines a rigid base part (408) connecting to a flexible strap mount (404).
