Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for controlling the packaging means feed to a sweet packing machine dependently upon the level of the contents of the pairs of holders of a sweet conveyor. According to the invention, a pair of control cams (26, 27) divided into an inner and an outer cam half (26', 27', 26'', 27'') is formed as a compact set of cams to control a moving extractor roll (5) for the packaging feed and the inner and outer cam halves are solidly coupled but relatively rotatable to adjust the cam intersections (saddle points) (36, 36'). This provides a particularly compact construction and the accurate feed of packaging means which avoids losses of packaging means, the actual presence of sweets between the pairs of holders of the sweet conveyor being detected.
Abstract:
A process and device are disclosed for supplying a packaging machine, in particular a candy packaging machine, with packaging material. A strip (1) of packaging material is drawn from a supply reel (2) by a pair of drawing cylinders (4, 4') and is cut by a cutting device (8, 9) into sections of packaging material having a predetermined length. During each working cycle of the machine, a section of packaging material is supplied to a wrapping station and the pre-adjustable length of the sections of packaging material is regulated by a regulating circuit (20) which includes the drive of the pair of drawing cylinders. The speed of rotation of a shaft (8) that bears a rotating knife of the cutting device and the speed of rotation of the driven drawing cylinders (4, 4') of the pair of drawing cylinders are continuously determined during each working cycle of the packaging machine. The value of the speed of rotation for the drawing cylinders is calculated taking into account the circumference of the drawing cylinders as well as the desired length of the sections of packaging material and is immediately set by means of a highly dynamic drive (9) linked to a control device.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a sweet-conveyer device with, rotating about a stationary central spindle (8), a gripper wheel (1) having a housing (7) with a multiplicity of cam-controlled pivoting pairs (3) of grippers designed to pick up sweets (B) cutt off a continuous extrusion by a cutter and transfer them to a transfer wheel (6). The grippers (22, 27) of each pair (3) are mounted so that they can pivot longitudinally relative to each other and together. The invention calls for the pivot axis (X) of a gripper-pair pivot-drive transmission device and the pivot axis (Y) for the grippers (22, 27) of each pair (3) to be located on an arc (K) of a circle at the same radius of rotation (R) with respect to the stationary central spindle (8) which acts as the centre of the pivoting motion. The invention also calls for the relative position of one pivot axis (X) with respect to the other pivot axis (Y) to be adjustable on the arc (K).
Abstract:
A conveyor device for sweets (B) has a rotary transfer wheel (100) that rotates around a stationary shaft (1) and is arranged between a gripping wheel and a wrapping wheel, a plurality of swingable holding elements (26, 26') arranged in pairs on a rotary housing (2) for seizing and transferring the sweets (B) from the gripping wheel to the wrapping wheel, as well as packaging tongs (14) associated with the pairs of holding elements (26, 26') and driving means for the pairs of holding elements (26, 26') and packaging tongs (14). A cam drum (15) for all pairs of holding elements (26, 26') is secured on the stationary shaft (1) of the transfer wheel (100). A swivelling member (50) and an opening and closing control member (60) for each pair of holding elements (26, 26') engage the cam drum (15) in order to control together the swivelling movement as well as the opening and closing movement of each pair of holding elements (26, 26').
