    Abstract: There is provided an aerosol generating article (100) for producing an inhalable aerosol upon heating, the aerosol generating article comprises an aerosol-forming substrate (101). The aerosol-forming substrate comprises a gel composition, the gel composition comprising at least one gelling agent, at least one of an alkaloid compound and a cannabinoid compound, and an aerosol former. The aerosol generating article further comprises an upstream element (102) upstream of the aerosol-forming substrate. The aerosol generating article further comprises a recess (103) extending from the upstream end of the aerosol generating article, through the upstream element and through at least a portion of the aerosol-forming substrate.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a susceptor for an inductively heatable aerosol-generating article, wherein the method comprises the steps of providing a band of susceptor material and providing a compression stage.
