Abstract: The invention relates to method for preparing thin and ultrathin polymer films on solid substrates, in particular: glass, quartz, ITO coated glass, mica, comprising deposition of a layer of solution or suspension of polymer, followed by fabrication of solid layer by using a laser light forming a line with uniform light intensity, which is moving in a direction perpendicular to its axis.
