Abstract: The current invention relates to a profile assembly comprising a first profile involving a profile section mainly extending in a longitudinal direction with a primarily U-shaped cross section for receiving and clamping a glass panel. The U-shaped profile section comprises a first and second edge, wherein the first and second edges extend toward each other from the opposite upstanding sides in a transverse direction; and a glass panel opening that extends between the first and second edges. The first edge comprises a first channel that extends to the glass panel opening in the transverse direction. The current invention also includes a method for installing this type of profile assembly.
