Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine a currently active bandwidth part (BWP). The UE may determine a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration that specifies PRSs to be measured. The UE may determine that a first subset of the PRSs to be measured are within the currently active BWP and that a second subset of the PRSs to be measured are not within the currently active BWP. The UE may upon determining that measuring the PRSs in the first subset but not measuring the PRSs in the second subset will not produce a measurement result that meets an accuracy requirement, extending the currently active BWP to include at least some of the PRSs in the second subset.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive system information for a plurality of neighboring cells in one or more system information block type 2 (SIB2) messages, one or more system information block type 4 (SIB4) messages, or both, the system information indicating at least an identifier and a quasi-colocation (QCL) relationship for each neighboring cell of the plurality of neighboring cells. The UE may report, to a location server, identifiers of one or more neighboring cells of the plurality of neighboring cells, the one or more neighboring cells selected from individual neighboring cells in one or more individual sets of neighboring cells of the plurality of neighboring cells, wherein the individual neighboring cells in each individual set of neighboring cells have a common QCL relationship with other individual neighboring cells in the individual set of neighboring cells.

Abstract: A method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes detecting, in response to a bandwidth part (BWP) switch, a first BWP of a first carrier aggregation signal and a second BWP of a second carrier aggregation signal. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) communicating with a first base station via a first radio bearer and a second bases station via a second radio bearer is disclosed. Uplink data transmissions using the radio bearers may be controlled by a threshold. During a positioning session to locate the UE, the UE may modify the threshold to cause the UE to use both the first radio bearer and the second radio bearer. The UE may return the threshold to an original value after the positioning session.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that the UE is operating using a first subscriber identity module (SIM) in a non-standalone mode associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT, and that a second SIM has been activated for the UE. The UE may determine, based at least in part on user input, whether to operate in a multi-SIM mode, where both the first SIM and the second SIM are active, or to operate in a single SIM mode where only the first SIM, and not the second SIM, is active. The UE may selectively deactivate the second SIM based at least in part on determining whether to operate in the multi-SIM mode or the single SIM mode. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Bandwidth Parts (BWPs) are used for the transmission and measurement of positioning reference signals during a positioning session. A location server may obtain relevant BWP information, such as the active BWP or a list of configured BWPs, from one or more base stations and/or the user equipment (UE) for the positioning session. The location server may provide assistance data to the UE that is determined based on the BWP information, so that the UE may measure PRS signals from intra-frequency base stations. The location server may further determine a preferred BWP or prohibited BWPs, which may be forwarded to the serving base station to control the BWPs that are used during the positioning session.

Abstract: A MSIM (Multiple SIM) capable UE may operate in a connected mode on a first subscription with a first network and operates on a second subscription in an idle mode or an active mode. The UE may miss communication on the first subscription by tuning away for activity on the second subscription. As presented herein, the may UE transmit, to the first network, MSIM assistance information regarding the second subscription. The MSIM assistance information may enable the network to determine periodic gaps needed by the UE to monitor a second subscription in an idle mode. The MSIM assistance information may enable the network to identify a network for the second subscription and to obtain scheduling information directly from that network.
