Abstract: A blast-resistant structure comprises a body (1) in which an aperture is defined. The aperture is bounded by two edge parts of the body. The blast-resistant structure further comprises a door (2), and first and second securing mechanisms (50) to secure the door (2) to respective ones of the body edge parts. Each securing mechanism (50) comprises a locking channel (51, 52) associated with the body (1) and a corresponding locking pin (28) associated with the door (2). Each locking pin (28) is moveable between an open position in which the locking pin (28) is external to the locking channel (51, 52) and a secured position in which the locking pin (28) is engaged in the locking channel (51, 52). The locking channel (51, 52) has a generally rectangular cross-section that is defined on at least first and second sides by a locking pin retention part.
