Abstract: The present disclosure relates to technical matters for sensor networks, machine to machine (M2M) communication, machine type communication (MTC) and Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure can be used for intelligent services based on these technical matters (smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, or connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail business, security and safety related services, and the like). A method for transmitting encrypted data from a first device to a second device that prevents identification of the transmitting and receiving devices is disclosed, the method for transmitting data is characterized by comprising the steps of: generating an encryption key for data encryption; generating key identification information using the generated encryption key and encrypting data; and transmitting to the second device a data set including the encrypted data and the key identification information.
