Abstract:
An image photographing apparatus and an image photographing method are provided. The image photographing apparatus includes: a plurality of image capturers respectively comprising lenses having different focal distances and respectively configured to capture a plurality of images having different resolutions; a storage configured to store the plurality of images captured by the plurality of image capturers; an image processor configured to adjust properties of the plurality of images to correspond to each other; a controller configured to, in response to a magnification change command being input, control the image processor to synthesize the plurality of images of which the properties are adjusted and generate a synthesis image of a magnification changed according to the magnification change command; and a display configured to display the synthesis image.
Abstract:
A digital photographing apparatus capable of reconfiguring an image signal processor (ISP), a method of controlling the digital photographing apparatus, and a system for controlling the digital photographing apparatus. The method includes: receiving a selection of at least one image signal processing module that is to be installed in the ISP; downloading the selected at least one image signal processing module from an external system; and reconfiguring the ISP by using the downloaded at least one image signal processing module.
Abstract:
An image photographing apparatus and method are provided. The image photographing method includes inputting images having different view points for a subject; displaying a first image among the images; in response to an input of a user command, changing the first image to a second image having a view point which is different from that of the first image, and displaying the second image; and in response to an input of a photographing command, acquiring the second image.
Abstract:
A photographing apparatus and method are provided. The photographing device includes: a main lens configured to transmit light beams reflected from a subject; a microlens array which includes a plurality of microlenses configured to filter and transmit the reflected light beams as different colors; an image sensor configured to sense the light beams that are transmitted by the plurality of microlenses; a data processor configured to collect pixels of positions corresponding to one another from a plurality of original images sensed by the image sensor to generate a plurality of sub images; a storage device configured to store the plurality of sub images; and a controller configured to detect pixels matching one another in the plurality of sub images stored in the storage device and to acquire color information and depth information of an image of the subject. Therefore, color information and depth information are restored without reducing resolution.
Abstract:
A photographing apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a first buffer configured to store a plurality of images generated by a first camera module among a plurality of camera modules, a second buffer configured to store a plurality of images generated by a second camera module among the plurality of camera modules, a display configured to display an image generated by the first camera module as a live image, and a controller configured to analyze the images stored in the first buffer and the second buffer using at least one of image information of each image stored in the first buffer and the second buffer and photographing information of the plurality of camera modules, and in response to an event occurring in at least one of the plurality of images stored in the second buffer, to control the display to provide a state notification service on the second camera module. When a foreign substance appears on at least one of the plurality of camera modules, the photographing apparatus may notify a user of the state more intuitionally.
Abstract:
A folded optical zoom lens and an image pickup apparatus including the same are provided. The zoom lens includes a first reflection plate and a second reflection plate having reflection surfaces acing each other; a light incidence region disposed around the second reflection plate; a light exit region disposed in a hole in a center portion of the first reflection plate; and a mirror, which is disposed around the second reflection plate and reflects light incident via the light incidence region toward the first reflection plate. The mirror is configured to change a length of a an optical path of light incident via the light incidence region, reflected between the first reflection plate and the second reflection plate, and exiting the zoom lens via the light exit region.
Abstract:
A catadioptric light-field lens has a replaceable micro-mirror array including a plurality of micro-mirrors arranged in concentric rings; a light incidence region formed around the micro-mirror array; a main mirror which is configured to reflect light incident via the light incidence region and concentrate the light at the micro-mirror array; and a light exit region which is formed through the center portion of the main mirror to face the micro-mirror array.
Abstract:
A photographing apparatus includes a light source to continuously emit a light, a photographing unit to photograph an object, a control unit to control radiation of the light by turning the light source on and off according to a light control code during a shutter time of the photographing unit, and an image processing unit to restore an image of the object using a frequency component value of the data captured at the photographing unit during the shutter time. Accordingly, efficient de-blurring is provided.
Abstract:
A digital photographing apparatus is provided. The digital photographing apparatus includes a first optical system configured to acquire a wide-angle image including a subject, a second optical system configured to acquire a telephoto image with the subject zoomed, and a processor configured to determine whether to generate a synthesized image of the wide-angle image and the telephoto image based on one or more of an illuminance of the subject and a distance between the digital photographing apparatus and the subject.
