Abstract: A method of providing a video summary by an electronic device. The method includes receiving, by the electronic device, a video including a plurality of frames; determining, by the electronic device, at least one view point of a user viewing the video; determining, by the electronic device, at least one region of interest (ROI) of the user in at least one frame among the plurality of frames based on the at least one view point of the user; identifying, by the electronic device, a frame set from the plurality of frames including the at least one ROI based on determining the at least one ROI in the at least one frame; providing, by the electronic device, the video summary based on the identified frame set; and displaying the video summary on a display of the electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for tracking at least one action of the user(s) for overcoming occlusion The method includes synchronizing operation of, by an occlusion detection module, a primary sensor, and a secondary sensor at time 't'. The method includes tracking, by the occlusion detection module, at least one of the primary sensors and the secondary sensor a first action of a user during the time 't'. The method includes observing, the occlusion detection module, a synchronization error in the tracked first action at a synchronizing time interval within the time 't. The method includes obtaining, by the occlusion detection module, a synchronization error data from the observed synchronization error related to the tracked first action. Subsequently, the method includes overcoming, by an activity unit transfer module, the synchronization error for the tracked first action by estimating occluded data for the tracked first action associated with the primary sensor based on the obtained at least one of the synchronization errors data.

Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method to identify an activity of a user. The method comprises obtaining sensor data from a plurality of sensors of the electronic device (100) operating in a synchronous mode, wherein the synchronous mode configures each of the plurality of sensors in a first configuration. The method also includes determining an activity class based on the sensor data obtained from each of the sensors and configuring the electronic device (100) in an asynchronous mode based on the activity class. The method also includes obtaining sensor data from the at least one candidate sensor and identifying at least one activity, from the plurality of candidate activities, currently performed by user based on the sensor data obtained from the at least one candidate sensor.
