    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. Embodiments herein disclose methods and systems to achieve inter RRC state and inter cell service continuity in NR MBS by addressing procedures and signalling for achieving service continuity upon state change and upon cell change in scenarios such as, but not limited to, RRC connection release, RRC cell reselection, and so on.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station, first system information including information on at least one stand-alone non-public network (SNPN), receiving, from the base station, second system information including information on a first list of at least one group identifier for network selection (GIN) to support an access using credentials from a credentials holder or to enable a UE onboarding and information on a second list of associations between the at least one GIN and the at least one SNPN in the first system information, selecting an SNPN based on the first system information and the second system information; and performing, with the base station, a radio resource control (RRC) establishment for the selected SNPN.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Accordingly, the embodiment herein is to provide a method and a User Equipment (100) for enhancing Medium Access Control (MAC) reset mechanism and other RRC procedures in a New Radio (NR) Multicast and broadcast service (MBS) communication. The method includes receiving a service from a network device (200), where the service includes an MBS multicast service and an MBS broadcast service. Furthermore, the method includes receiving a plurality of network messages from the network device. Furthermore, the method includes determining a plurality of events associated with the UE (100). Furthermore, the method includes performing the MAC reset mechanism in the MBS communication based on the service and/or the plurality of network messages, and/or the plurality of events.
