A method performed by a user equipment (UE), includes: receiving, from at least one stand-alone non-public network base station (SNPN BS), system information block (SIB) including a group ID (GID) at an access stratum (AS) of the UE; reporting each GID per SNPN BS to a non-access stratum (NAS) of the UE, at the AS of the UE; and in case that an RRCSetup message is received from one of the at least one SNPN BS, transmitting an RRCSetupComplete message including a onboarding request.

The method includes receiving a service from a network device (200), where the service includes an MBS multicast service and an MBS broadcast service. Furthermore, the method includes receiving a plurality of network messages from the network device. Furthermore, the method includes determining a plurality of events associated with the UE (100). Furthermore, the method includes performing the MAC reset mechanism in the MBS communication based on the service and/or the plurality of network messages, and/or the plurality of events.
