Abstract:
A gyratory crusher main shaft assembly in which an axially upper region (113) of the main shaft comprises a tapered conical section with a protective sleeve friction (124) fitted over the cone. To facilitate mounting and dismounting of the sleeve (124), at least one groove (121) is indented within a radially external facing surface of the main shaft at the region of the cone to allow fluid to be introduced under pressure to the region between the sleeve and the cone.
Abstract:
A crusher feed hopper wear protection cassette (304) to mount at a wall of a crusher feed hopper (100). The cassette comprises a mount member (301) to contact and releasably mount the cassette at a region of the feed hopper and a support face (406) to mount at least one wear liner (300) orientated to be facing the interior region of the hopper chamber.
Abstract:
A gyratory crusher bottom shell and bottom shell assembly in which protective liners are mounted over and about respective support arms (106) that extend radially between the bottom shell wall and a central hub (107). The support arms (106) comprise a seat or saddle region with at least a part of the liner positioned in contact with and supported by the seat to distribute the mass of the liner radially between the hub (107) and the shell wall and to reduce tension in the primary attachment bolts.
Abstract:
A crusher feed distributor (109) for mounting at a crusher input hopper (101) of a crusher (100). The feed distributor comprises a guide body (110) to contact and distribute the flow of feed material and a mounting assembly to mount the guide body at the input hopper. The mounting assembly is specifically configured with a plurality of independent mounts (200, 204, 306, 202, 308) that collectively provide up to four adjustments and degrees of freedom corresponding to three lateral adjustments and one rotational adjustment.
Abstract:
A gyratory crusher shell having an annular wall extending around a longitudinal axis. A plurality of ears project radially outward from an annular rim of the top shell with each ear comprising a respective lug to sit within a corresponding recess at an annular rim of the topshell to rotatably lock the crushing shell at the topshell.
Abstract:
A gyratory crusher spider wall shield for releasable mounting to a radially inward facing face of a spider positioned on top of a shell of a gyratory crusher. The shield comprises a primary protection wall positionable over the inward face of the spider and a rear wall attachable to an outer annular fixating ring positionable axially intermediate a material input hopper and the spider.
Abstract:
A gyratory crusher spider arm shield (120) for releasable attachment to a spider arm (110). The shield comprises a main body (121) having an underside foot (400) for engaging onto an upper region of the arm. The secure attachment is provided by cooperation between an attachment element (207, 403) that extends radially inward from an outermost end (206) of the shield and a mount guide (202) provided at sidewalls (122) of the shield that extend laterally each side of the spider arm.
Abstract:
A crusher inspection hatch assembly (107) provided at a crusher. The hatch assembly comprises a frame (200) surrounding the hatch opening (301) and a door (201) to close the opening when the hatch is not in use. A plurality of attachment elements (406, 407) secure the door to the frame. Each attachment element comprises a shaft (407) and a nut (406) with at least the nut component of the attachment element being prevented from separation from the hatch assembly via at least one abutment flange (408, 409).
Abstract:
A gyratory crusher eccentric support assembly to support the gyroscopic precession of a main shaft extending through the crusher. The eccentric assembly comprises an inner bushing retained in position by a surrounding sleeve with the sleeve supported at its axially uppermost region by an annular support ring. A locking flange prevents axial displacement of the bushing that is configured specifically to facilitate the removal and replacement of the bushing wear part.
Abstract:
A crusher feed hopper guide assembly to direct material to be crushed through a lower region of an internal chamber of a feed hopper. The feed guide comprises a modular construction with individual units positioned side-by-side to define a conical funnel within the hopper chamber. A plurality of wear liners are removably mounted on a plurality of common supports with the wear liners and the modular units removably mounted at the hopper for convenient assembly and disassembly to facilitate maintenance.
