Abstract: A production chemical composition may include a polyether polyol; and one or more corrosion inhibitors and/or one or more scale inhibitors. A method may include injecting a composition of a polyether polyol; and one or more corrosion inhibitors and/or scale inhibitors into a production stream, which may be, for example, downhole or subsea. The polyol polyether may include, for example, ethylenedioxy(dimethanol).
