Abstract: A subtalar joint replacement is provided. The subtalar joint replacement device includes a talar component, a calcaneal component, and an insert that is movable relative to the calcaneal component. The insert can be joined to or integrally formed with the calcaneal component. A basic surgical technique for implanting the subtalar joint arthoplasty/replacement is also described.
