Abstract:
An underwear garment for the metered delivery of Cannabidiol oil to a user's pelvic, pubic, genital, perineum, anus and/or buttocks wherein the garment has, over one or more of those areas, a fluid permeable top sheet closest to the skin, an absorbent polymer layer for the absorption of fluid, and a therapeutic substance layer comprising cannabidiol oil and/or other therapeutic substances suspended in a solid oil, the therapeutic substance layer sandwiched between the top sheet and the absorbent polymer layer, so that the user's bodily heat and fluid, including perspiration and/or discharge, causes swelling of the absorbent polymer which then in turn propels the cannabidiol oil through the top sheet onto the adjacent bodily area of the user.
Abstract:
An improved sanitary pad is adapted for use in a thong-style pair of underwear. One embodiment includes a disposable pair of thong-style underwear which have a thong-style sanitary pad build in to the underwear's saddle. To absorb and retain the anticipated menstrual flow volume and at the anticipated flow rate, the pad contains a double layer of absorbent material in a waisted, water impervious flexible channel within the pad. The waisting of the channel is sized to accommodate the narrow lateral width of the thong saddle. The upright substantially flat or otherwise smooth sides of the channel guide flow entering a capture zone of the pad saddle away from the capture zone to longitudinally outer reservoir zones formed In the front and rear of the pad.
