Abstract: A multi-leaf partition has two window, door or other partition leaves 21, 22, each of which is connected to a different frame guide 31, 34 and has a stile 40, 42, 50 that includes an engagement component 50. The engagement components 50 of the two leaves 21, 22 5 interlock when the stiles of the two leaves 21, 22 are opposite each other. The stile of at least one leaf 22 has an external face and connection means 53 to the external face to be connected to a corresponding connection means 54, provided in the detachable profile 90. The detachable profile 90 is configured in a manner that allows their connection and disconnection with the stile 40, 42, 50, when the leaf 22 to which the detachable profile 90 is connected, is connected to the guide 34. The leaf and stile are reinforced to withstand compressive and flexural loads. The strength improvement does not affect the visibility through the glass pane.

Abstract: The invention refers to fixed casements for windows, doors or other partitions, in particular fixed casements with thermal break. The invention further refers to a method of placing and assembling fixed casements in panels, such as walls. The frame has a profile (10) with one body (12) with at least one guide (21, 22, 23), one side wall (14) opposite the guide (21) and one bottom (16) between the body (12) and the side wall (14), with the body (12), the side wall (14) and the bottom (16) forming a channel (18). The side wall (14) is discontinuous, extending from two opposite sides of a window (15). In the channel (18) there is an insert (24) made of insulating material, which exits from the channel (18) through the window (15).
