Abstract: A component for a vehicle interior is disclosed. The component comprises a base, a bin, a door configured to cover the bin and a latch configured to lock the door to the base. The latch is configured to move between an engaged position and a released position. The latch comprises at least one pin configured to lock the door to the base. The pin is configured to move in response to actuation of the latch to unlock the door from the base. The latch comprises a button and at least one link. The link is configured to couple the at least one pin to the button. The door or the latch may comprise a spring configured to bias the button to an un-depressed position. The base comprises an opening, a recess, a gap, or a hole configured to lock the door to the base.
