A method includes establishing a circuit switched call with an IVR at a destination from a mobile terminal, the mobile terminal user user receives an option to establish an IP connection with a communication server associated with the destination. Based on user selection, transmitting a request to switch to IP communication to the automated answering system, receiving an IP request acknowledgement message from the communication server responsive to transmitting the request to switch to IP communication, and establishing an IP communication session with the communication server, responsive to receiving the IP request acknowledgement. Tearing down the circuit switch call responsive to establishing the IP connection.
Abstract:
According to an example method implemented by an imaging device, an image is recorded of a subject to which a wearable computing device is secured. Responsive to the recording, the imaging device wirelessly receives data from the wearable computing device. The data includes an identifier of the wearable computing device and biometric data of the subject. The identifier and biometric data are embedded as metadata in the recorded image.
Abstract:
A method in a system for sending a picture from an electronic mobile device to an electronic device is provided. The picture is to be sent over a wireless communications network. The system comprises the electronic mobile device, the wireless communications network, and the electronic device, and the electronic mobile device comprises a camera unit. The camera unit captures a high resolution picture. The electronic mobile device creates a low resolution picture based on the high resolution picture. The electronic mobile device sends the low resolution picture to the electronic device, and, when a quality of resources in the wireless communications network is above a threshold, sends the high resolution picture to at least one database for storage. Further, such a system is provided.
