Abstract: Disclosed is a method for calibrating a sensor of a monitoring apparatus for monitoring an analyte concentration in a body fluid sample of a patient in which a temperature-dependent drift model is derived for the sensor. An apparatus for monitoring an analyte concentration in a body fluid sample of a patient including such a sensor and a signal processor programmed to calibrate the sensor in accordance with this method is also disclosed.
