Abstract: The invention provides a 'T' shaped connector having bimetallic coupling characteristics. The connector is configured to receive multiple copper cables from multiple solar strings. The copper cables are attached to the connector using a coupling unit with male/female components. The copper cables inside the connector are in parallel and terminated at an output aluminium cable run along the strings. Here, the aluminium cable itself acts as the bus-bar.
