Abstract:
Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a wireless device (10) for managing communication in a wireless communication network. The wireless device receives reference signals from one or more radio network nodes. The wireless device (10) estimates to what extent the received5 reference signals are received spatially diversified. The wireless device (10) then generates a measurement report by adding selected reference signals into the measurement report, which reference signals are selected for simultaneous multiple transmissions of data to the wireless device (10) taking into account the estimated extent that the received reference signals are10 received spatially diversified. The wireless device (10) then transmits the measurement report to a radio network node (12) in the wireless communication network (1).

Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a wireless device (10) for managing communication in a wireless communication network. The wireless device receives reference signals from one or more radio network nodes. The wireless device (10) estimates to what extent the received reference signals are received spatially diversified based on a radio network node indication indicating from which radio network node the reference signal was sent, and/or on a beam indication indicating in what direction the reference signal was sent toward the wireless device. The wireless device (10) then generates a measurement report by adding selected reference signals into the measurement report, which reference signals are selected for simultaneous multiple transmissions of data to the wireless device (10) taking into account the estimated extent that the received reference signals are received spatially diversified. The wireless device (10) then transmits the measurement report to a radio network node (12) in the wireless communication network (1).
Abstract:
A method performed by a wireless communication device for reporting signal quality measurements. The wireless communication device operates in a wireless communications network and comprises a first wireless network configured with single Demodulation Reference Signals (DMRS) and a second wireless network configured with dual DMRS. The wireless communication device receives (400) a set of DMRS from the first wireless network and a set of dual DMRS from the second wireless network. The wireless communication device selects (403) any one or more out of a first activity and a second activity based on the speed of the wireless communication device 120. The first activity comprises performing (404) first signal quality measurements of the set of single DMRS and reporting at least some of the first signal quality measurements to the wireless communications network, and the second activity comprises performing (405) a second signal quality measurement of the set of dual DMRS and reporting at least some of the second signal quality measurements to the wireless communications network.
Abstract:
According to a first embodiment of inventive concepts, method of operating an intelligent transportation system may include obtaining (931) first traffic information from a first source, with the first traffic information including position information for a first vehicle, and with the first traffic information being generated independently of the first vehicle. Second traffic information may be obtained (933) from a second source, with the second traffic information omitting position information for the first vehicle. Responsive to comparing the first traffic information and the second traffic information, the first vehicle may be identified (935) as being non-collaborative with respect to the intelligent transportation system. Traffic coordination may be provided (937) based on a position of the first vehicle and based on identifying the first vehicle as being non-collaborative with respect to the intelligent transportation system. Further embodiments may include methods of operating a first vehicle, transport system controllers, terminal devices, and computer program products.
