Abstract: The present invention relates to an interface. In particular, the present invention enables communication between a vehicle and other devices. The invention relates to an interface for use in communication between a vehicle and a smart device, wherein the interface includes, a signal receiver; a conditioning circuit; and a signal transmitter; characterised in that the interface is configured to; receive an input signal from the vehicle via the signal receiver; convert the input signal to a form that is compatible with a sound card of a smart device via the conditioning circuit; and transmit the converted signal to the smart device via the transmitter.
