Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of neurodegenerative diseases. More specifically, the present invention provides methods and compositions useful for treating Parkinson's disease. In a specific embodiment, a method for reducing Parkinson's Disease-related neurotoxicity in a patient comprising the step of administering to the patient an effective amount of an agent that inhibits the phosphorylation of RPS15 by LRRK2.
