Abstract:
A stable shampoo composition containing a surfactant system that is substantially free of sulphated surfactants, a cationic polymer, and a sclerotium gum thickener. The shampoo can have a viscosity greater than 2500 cP and a pH greater than 5.5.
Abstract:
A clear cleansing composition directed to from about 3 wt% to about 35 wt % of an anionic surfactant; from about 5 wt % to about 15% of an amphoteric surfactant; from about 0.01 wt% to about 2 wt % of a cationic polymer; from about 0 wt% to about 1.0 wt% of inorganic salts; from about 0.01% to about 10% of a hydroxamic acid or hydroxamic acid derivative; an aqueous carrier, wherein the composition is substantially free of sulfate based surfactant and wherein the composition has a % T value of greater than about 70.
Abstract:
Personal care compositions including glyceride ester crystals, a surfactant, a cationic polymer, and a liquid carrier are disclosed. The personal care compositions can form a greater quantity of coacervate than similar compositions without the glyceride ester crystals and can exhibit excellent feel during use. Methods of preparing the personal care compositions are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A stable shampoo composition that contains a surfactant system with anionic and amphoteric surfactants, a cationic polymer having a charge density of 1.7 meq/g to 2.1 meq/g, and 1% to 1.5% inorganic salt.
Abstract:
Personal cleansing compositions having an anionic surfactant, cationic deposition polymer, a level of inorganic salt of from about 0 to about 1 wt%, and an aqueous carrier. The composition is substantially free of sulfate containing surfactants. The composition can further comprise amphoteric surfactants. The composition remains phase stable, and minimizes coacervate formulation until after dilution with water.
Abstract:
A shampoo composition comprising a. 3% to 35% of an anionic surfactant, wherein the anionic surfactant is substantially free of sulfated surfactants; b. 3% to 15% of an amphoteric surfactant; and c. 0.01% to 2% of a cationic polymer having a charge density 2.0 to 10.0 meq/g; and wherein the composition is isotropic and forms a lyotropic liquid crystal coacervate upon dilution.
Abstract:
A stable shampoo composition that is substantially free of sulfated surfactants and lacks an in situ coacervate. The shampoo composition contains an inorganic salt and a cationic polymer having a charge density greater than 0.6 meq/g. The shampoo composition has a ratio of polymer charge density to inorganic salt of polymer charge density of 1.2:1 to 2:1. The shampoo composition can be stable and can lack in situ coacervate.
