Abstract: The present invention discloses a chain tool for chip removing and / or shredding. The chain tool comprises a tool body having a longitudinal axis, and a chain arranged about the tool body and comprising chain members consecutively linked therebetween. The tool body comprises a generally axi- symmetric envelope extending about the longitudinal axis and disposed between generally radially-extending coaxially-aligned first and second ends of the tool body. The tool body further comprises a plurality of channels circumferentially defined on the envelope.
