The electrode assembly includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material layer. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material layer. The separator is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The battery case accommodates the electrode assembly and the nonaqueous electrolyte. Ends of contact faces of the negative electrode active material layer and the separator are at least partially bonded to each other.

The negative electrode collector terminal (94) is mainly made of copper or copper alloy. An insulator film (10) configured to insulate the battery case (30) from the electrode body (80) is placed between an inner wall (30a) of the battery case (30) and the electrode body (80). The insulator film (10) is joined to the inner wall (30a) of the battery case (30), and the insulator film (10) is placed so as not to make contact with the negative electrode collector terminal (94).
