Abstract: A detector (110) for determining a position of at least one object (112) is disclosed. The detector (110) comprises: - at least one sensor element (118) having a matrix (120) of optical sensors (122), the optical sensors (122) each having a light-sensitive area (124), wherein each optical sensor (122) is configured to generate at least one sensor signal in response to an illumination of the light- sensitive area (124) by at least one light beam (116) propagating from the object (112) to the detector (110); - at least one evaluation device (134) configured for evaluating the sensor signals, by a) determining at least one optical sensor (122) having the highest sensor signal and forming at least one center signal; b) evaluating the sensor signals of the optical sensors (122) of the matrix (120) and forming at least one sum signal; c) determining at least one combined signal by combining the center signal and the sum signal; and d) determining at least one longitudinal coordinate z of the object (112) by evaluating the combined signal.

Abstract: A detector (110, 1110, 2110) for determining a position of at least one object (112) is proposed. The detector (110, 1110, 2110) comprises: at least one transfer device (128, 1128), wherein the transfer device (128, 1128) has at least one focal length in response to at least one incident light beam (116, 1116) propagating from the object (112, 1112) to the detector (110, 1110, 2110); at least two optical sensors (113, 1118, 1120), wherein each optical sensor (113, 1118, 1120) has at least one light sensitive area (121, 1122, 1124), wherein each optical sensor (113, 1118, 1120) is designed to generate at least one sensor signal in response to an illumination of its respective light-sensitive area by the light beam (116, 1116),at least one evaluation device (132, 1132) being configured for determining at least one longitudinal coordinate z of the object (112, 1112) by evaluating a quotient signal Q from the sensor signals. The detector is adapted to determine the longitudinal coordinate z of the object in at least one measurement range independent from the object size in an object plane.

Abstract: A detector (110) for an optical detection of at least one object (112) is proposed. Further, the invention relates to a method for optical detection of at least one object (112) and to various uses of the detector(110). The detector (110) comprises: -at least one optical sensor(114), the optical sensor (114) having at least one sensor region(132),the sensor region (132) comprising at least one curved substrate (142) and at least one film (134) having a photoconductive material (136), wherein the film (134) is placed on at least one surface (140, 172) of the curved substrate (142), wherein the optical sensor (114) is designed to generate at least one sensor signal in a manner dependent on an illumination of the sensor region (132) by a light beam(124); -at least one transfer device (120), the transfer device (120) being adapted to transfer the light beam (124) from the object (112) to the optical sensor (114), thereby being adapted to guide the light beam (124) to the film (134) located on the curved substrate (142);and -at least one evaluation device(154), wherein the evaluation device (154) is designed to generate at least one item of information on a position of the object (112) by evaluating the sensor signal of the optical sensor(114). Thereby, a simple, cost-efficient and, still, reliable detector (110) for an accurate determining of a position of at least one object (112) in space is provided.
