Abstract: A method of displaying information associated with an application of an intubation device includes detecting an orientation of a screen attached to the intubation device, and setting a template for displaying values of a parameter associated with one of the plurality of sensors in a display window on the screen according to the orientation of the screen. The method includes receiving data from the plurality of sensors, and continuously displaying a video image from an optical imaging device during an intubation of a patient and periodically displaying on a portion of the screen a display window including a value of the parameter according to the data received instead of a part of the video image. Setting the template includes setting a frequency of display, a size, or a color for the parameter.

Abstract: A method of indicating an oxygen desaturation period has been initiated includes detecting an oxygen mask configured to supply oxygen to a patient to saturate the patient, detecting a removal of the oxygen mask from the patient to stop saturation of the patient, initiating a desaturation timer in response the removal of the oxygen mask from the patient, and operating an image display device to display a first running time on a screen of the image display device indicating a desaturation time elapsed from a time of the removal of the mask.

Abstract: A method of starting a timer associated with a process to be completed during an application of an intubation device assembly includes operating a first optical imaging device attached to an intubation device, obtaining a video image of a field of view from the first optical imaging device, and determining a pixel or zone value of a spectrum range of the video image.
