Abstract: Heat exchanger for low temperatures. The heat exchanger comprises a body (1), a tube pack (12) fitted inside the body for circulating a heat-transfer medium in the heat exchanger, connections (20, 22) for leading the heat-transfer medium to the tube pack (12), and from the tube pack, and connections (13) for leading the heat-transfer medium into the body and out of the body. According to the invention, the heat exchanger's body (1) is manufactured from planar profile sheet. An opening is fitted to at least one long side (7) of the body (1), and is dimensioned to be large enough for the tube pack (12) forming at least one circuit of the heat exchanger to be fitted inside the body (1) through the opening, so that the tube pack can be easily lifted out from inside the body for the replacement of individual tubes or tube rows. A cover (7) is arranged to cover the opening.
