摘要: The present disclosure relates to a building panel. The building panel comprises comprising a balancing layer (4) having a top surface and a bottom surface, a first sub-layer (3a) is arranged on the top surface of the balancing layer (4), wherein the first sub-layer (3a) comprises a binder, a surface layer (1) arranged above a surface of the first sub-layer (3a) facing away from the balancing layer (4), the surface layer (1) having a top surface and a bottom surface and comprising a first wood veneer (10) having a grain direction (G), wherein the top surface of the surface layer (1) is adapted to be a visible surface of the building panel when installed, wherein an extension of the surface layer (1) in a direction parallel to the grain direction (G) of the first wood veneer (10) is equal or less than an extension of the balancing layer (4) in the direction parallel to the grain direction (G) of the first wood veneer (10), and wherein the surface layer (1) is arranged within the extension of the balancing layer (4) in the direction parallel to the grain direction (G) of the first wood veneer (10). The disclosure further relates to a method to produce a building panel.
