Abstract: The present invention discloses an air gun. The air gun having a recoil gas unit and a bolt carrier unit. The recoil gas unit comprises a recoil guide tube configured to supply compressed air and a recoil assembly spring for movement of the recoil tube carrier. The bolt carrier unit is coupled to the recoil gas unit and comprises a piston. The bolt carrier unit also comprises a valve chamber for performing a firing stroke of the air gun. The bolt carrier unit comprises a piston chamber. The piston chamber is configured to facilitate movement of the piston and to receive the compressed air, for performing a recoiling stroke of the air gun. The recoil gas unit facilitates the firing stroke and the recoiling stroke of the air gun.
